2018 Association of Vision Educators Conference
at the beautiful Still Meadow Retreat Center
just outside of Portland, Oregon, USA.

Choose from a variety of accommodations,
ranging from a private room to a rustic campsite.
Be prepared to participate in enriching workshops,
engage in enlightening talks, and create long-lasting
connections and memories with other vision professionals.

September 26th – September 30th, 2018

The 2018 Conference will have one all-inclusive fee that includes all the talks and workshops of the entire conference, lodging for 4 nights, and meals. Your all-inclusive fee will differ depending on the type of accommodation you choose. The prices you see below next to the different types of accommodation are ballpark estimations to give you an idea of how much it may cost. The overall final cost will depend on how many people attend the conference. You will pay a $200 deposit upon signing up to reserve your space, then once we get a final headcount we will inform you of your remaining balance, which you can pay closer to the time of the conference or at the conference.

How to Register Online for the 2018 AVE Conference…

  • Step 1: Please fill in your information below and click the “Submit” button.

  • Step 2: Receive an email with instructions of how to submit your deposit online or via mail in order to reserve your space in the 2018 conference.



Name, Number, Relation

Please select what type of accommodations you would prefer during the conference. (Exact room rates will be dependent on the total number of attendees… more attendees = lower costs)
If you are sharing a room and have a preferred roommate, please type their name.
A deposit of $200 is required to reserve your spot in the conference. Please indicate whether you plan on paying online via PayPal or with a US Check in the mail. You will receive instructions on how to pay your deposit once you submit your registration form. Your remaining balance (depending on your accommodations and total head count) will be paid closer to the conference or upon arrival.
